April 9th
Another busy day for the superhero! Lots of therapy,naps and frustration. It is a real struggle not being able to talk and tell everyone what he wants...after dinner and hanging out with his favorite sister, Dillon was able to walk himself down and have a relaxing shower. After a few laughs he walked back to his room and had some more giggles and was ready for bed.. Good Day to you all and to all a good night!!!!

Glad to hear there is some laughter going on. Afterall, it is the best medicine. As we were driving home Saturday and were coming into DILLON, Montana I saw the brightest shooting star I have ever seen. Gerald saw it too. I said now we have to make a wish. No doubt we both wished for the same thing. Stay strong DILLON. We love you. The Mortons.

ReplyDeleteI saw/heard Dillon say "bye" to Elliot the service dog--best thing I've heard in a while, then he laughed--Also let us know he wanted to pee-then laughed and laughed-thought he was pretty funny. He worked hard, when to PT twice, OT twice, and speech therapy twice-so he is tired. But I am counting the miracles no matter how small. grateful to all the wonderful people at the hospital who are just super, and treat us like we are special!!! GRANDMA RED
